The proudest moment I had as a Blue Devil was when I was on 12u Royals and we won the 2010 World Series down in Kansas City. Holding up that crystal trophy was the biggest milestone of my softball career at that point. The excitement of having all our hard work pay of was so rewarding. Winning that championship game was fun, but that week spent with the team was even more fun. Playing games every day and then getting to hang out with my best friends at the pool, run around the hotel, or dress up for the parade created moments that I wished could last forever.

Alyssa Wiebel

Besides softball, I also play basketball and run track. I am involved in my school through student council and being my class president all 4 years, and also being in National Honor Society. I am involved with volunteer work and helping young athletes learn fundamentals of sports. I have a part time job as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a nursing home. I enjoy watching Netflix and spending time with friends, family, and my cats. In the fall of 2016, I will be studying biology and playing Division 1 softball at Illinois State University.
